How To Add Your Counselor On Common App

Common App has teamed up with Xello to make supporting your students with their college applications easier. For colleges that work with Mutual App, y'all'll be able to do everything from Xello.

Students will transport a request through Xello to an educator. To counselors, they request their Counselor Forms (including their Transcript) are sent. For teachers, they request a Instructor Evaluation (sometimes known every bit a recommendation letter) is completed.

On your end, you receive notification of their requests via email. From the link in the email, y'all're directed to the Xello login page. Subsequently signing in, yous'll land on the educatee request page.

Once you've received your beginning request from a student, you'll need to fix up your counselor profile. You'll only need to consummate this profile ane fourth dimension. When you send forms for your students, this profile is included.

Later on completing the contour, Common App is integrated with your Xello business relationship.

To integrate Common App with Xello:

From the student e-mail request you received, click Sign In to open the Xello log in page.
Notation: If you haven't logged in to Xello before, click Having problem signing in? and follow the directions to recollect admission. Once you've logged in you'll state on the dashboard. To get to the educatee request page: under Features, click Higher Planning and select Common App
After logging in, you'll country on the list of educatee requests.
In the banner at the top of the folio, click Create Profile.
Click Schoolhouse Counselor to begin filling out your contour.

Tip Tip: Your contour can be edited at any time. From the student request page, click Edit Profile to make any changes.
